#1273 – How to change Order ID Status "Pending" to Another

You can change any Order status through the back end > Taxi Booking > Orders > click no an order to edit > Click on Status dropdown and select the one that you want the order changed to.

Thanks for that.

The process you showed me is manually, going through every single order, whereas I'm looking for a dynamic solution / automatic one.

I want to change order status of every single booking that comes into our mail box when a customer make online booking.

Is there any way to setup the order status once so that further booking made by customers come with the same order status "Approved or..."?

Please can you assist me?

Hi tcgza,
you can change the order status automatically by setting that in the online payment methods configuration tab (we have updated PayFast with those options and will let you know when we upload it to the server) but it is not possible to do that for Cash payments which is done to avoid Spam and fake orders so admin has to manually verify every Cash order.

Another option would be to rename Waiting status to something else eg. "Confirmed". You can do that via Joomla language override so you can safely update Taxi Booking with upcoming releases: https://kanev.com/blog/22-joomla-language-override

Thanks, I opted for the second solution.

I asked another question here and I'm still awaiting your replies.

TB has to have an option (YES/NO) which let us choose whether we want to enable sending confirmation email to customer after booking in all Payment Plugin including 'Cash'.

Please can you assist me on that?

you have closed that other ticket but it concerns PayFast paymetn method. It has been updated with email sending options and will soon be uploaded to the server.
We will let you know when that is done.

To add an option to Cash payment Send confirmation email: Yes/No will require an additional development fee. Let us know if you are interested so we can provide you with price quote and time frame for development.
