#1634 – about update 4.2.4 to 4.2.5

Version 4.2.5 is available for download ... is it updated by reinstalling the pkg normally or is there another procedure?

I consult, because the component shows that version 4.2.4 is updated.

Hi Jorge,

You should add your Download ID in the Component settings panel (clicking on the Options button in the top right corner), then you should see Update available message. You can also download the package and install that manually from Extension manager. Please try to update the package and let us know if you find any problem.

I updated the version by uploading the package, since the component's automatic installer does not work, and I see that it still shows the old version 4.2.4, but I suppose that version 4.2.5 is already running. I leave my concern about the need for the new version to be shown in the component panel, for future versions.

In a second installation, the new version is seen. It is likely that the first one did not work because of a joomla problem.

Taxi Booking is quite large now and upload may not be the best way to update it.
You can set up Live update or you can use the Direct link to get it directly from our server so you don't have to upload it from your local computer.
