#1728 – Sms not Required- Another platform sms sending

for booking alert text messages, is it possible to make a field not required?

In case there is this possibility, where should it be configured?

Also, if you want to change the sms sending platform, don't use Clikatell, but another sms sending platform in Italy, how can I do?

Alternatively, what SMS sending platform do you recommend?
The site owner Irmalimousines (taxi) is in Italy!

Hi Pinella,
at the moment the phone number is set as a required field to prevent spam bookings.
Also, at the moment only Clickatell is integrated as an SMS platform and we don't know what would be best for Italy. We have been asked before to look at Twillio (https://www.twilio.com/sms) but we haven't integrated that yet.
If you need a new SMS service integration we will have to charge you a small development fee. Let us know if you are interested so we can provide you with a price quote and time frame for development.
