#1770 – Disabling mail with 'Waiting' status

 Hi,
is there any option to disable mail with 'Waiting' status for customer and separate email templates for accepted & rejected mails?
I did it in onepagethree.php but will have to do it again after update.

Hi Yan,
you can stop sending Waiting status email in each Payment method - Configuration tab > Send Email for Pending Status: No (not available for Cash payment method).
For any text changes, including the emails for accepted and rejected orders, you should use Joomla language overrides so you don't lose the changes when you update: https://kanev.com/blog/22-joomla-language-override

Thanks, but as you wrote above, this method does not available for Cash payment method. Moreover, I need different e-mail templates for different order states.

As for the overrides, thanks a lot, I will use it.

Hi again,
it is intentionally omitted from Cash orders because there is no other confirmation to the customer that the order has been successfully submitted.
As per email templates, we will need to develop an email template management system which you will be able to access through the back end to change the email texts. This will require some custom development and we will have to charge a development fee for that.

there is confirmation message on webpage after booking procedure, isn't it? As for email templates, I just made some changes to php script & now it's all fine.

Hi Yan,
the confirmation message is not enough as it is no proof that the transaction has taken place, it's there only until the customer closes the browser.
It is good that you have managed to solve your problem by editing the script as it is fully open source but please note that you will lose those changes when you update Taxi Booking to a newer version so you will have to reapply them.
