at the moment we have only heard that Stripe allows such a deffered payment but we haven't researched it so if you have any links to online integration documentation please paste them here.
A trigger is required at the time of charging the card - after the service has finished, which means that either the driver, customer or admin has to notify the system that the service has finished successfully and trigger the payment this way.
We have already developed such a functionality for Authorize.net payment plugin:
Authorization of credit cards and charging after the service has been provided is only available with Authorize.net payment gateway.
They allow you to get an Authorization at the time of booking and then manually charge the Authorized amount through your Authorize.net merchant interface after the service has finished.
