#2118 – Fontawesome Favicons not showing correctly

 Hi,

Looks like your component uses the deprecated versions of the Fontawesome icon set. Doesn't show up correctly on my site - at least, not SOME of the icons.

I REALLY don't want to have to go and manually fix all the html. How can I make sure it's using the correct icons?

I've already sent you admin access....

However, I had a look, and there's a fontawesome CSS file in Assets, CSS.

According to this, your component is built on Fontawesome 4.3, which is deprecated and has been for a long time. See code from your component below:

Can you please update your component to use the latest version of Fontawesome? As I said, I REALLY don't want to have to try to fix every instance where this outdated version breaks my template manually.

Hi,

We need a temporary FTP access for your server. Your have provided the backend access which is working fine. We will add a fix directly to your server and after that add that improvement to our next release so you can upgrade the package easily.

We have already updated our systems icons using latest version of font awesome. So, it should be a permanent fix for you and you don't have to do it manually.
