#2130 – Taxi Booking Drivers Information

We consider to buy Taxi Booking Drivers extensions.

Before we buy could you please inform tell us?

1. If first drivers do not respond in time and email is send to second driver, then is it the frst driver still alegable to acept booking if second driver didn't acepted order yet?

2. Is it posible driver get SMS with email also?

3. Is it posible in order email to calculate driver commision, if we set let say 20% for us and driver get 80% of order.

If you have these features this will be awesome.

Hi Marko,
the first driver can accept the order only in the given time that you have set at the back end then the order is sent to the next driver and is active for them for the same time (please note that you have to set a cron job for this automation).
The drivers receive emails with direct links to Accept or Reject an order. SMS is not possible with this functionality.
The driver commission is not calculated automatically at the moment.

Is not realy what we need.
- We would like to send email to drivers with 10 min delay to each driver (this is OK), But first and all drives should be able all to accept order, even after 10 min expires (usualy they need long time to look email) if there nobody excepted jet. If is order acepted from one of the drivers (we prefer first one), then other drivers if they try to accept should get message like order is expired.

- Because they need time to look email - SMS notification to drivers that order arrive on email is almost necesary to get fast response.

Driver comision is not so important for us, but it would save a lot of confusion.

is it there posibility for custom development to extension work like this?

Hi Marko,
it might be possible to leave the order open until any of the drivers have accepted it. Once the order is Accepted all drivers will see that someone else has accepted the order and it is expired.

SMS notification will be possible after further development but everyone is receiving their email on their phones already and without active mobile internet they will not be able to Accept or Reject the order anyway. SMS will only be a notification to the driver to check their email. SMS is a paid service and email isn't.

One more thing, because GDPR, drivers before accepted the order they need to get all data necessary, withot personal customer information. Only after they acepted order they should get also customer name, telefon number but no email.

Order should be open until any of drivers have accepted, that is a must for us. Other drivers who do not accept first, no really need to get any notice like order is acepted on email, but if they try to accepted and follow link, they sould get message on landing page: Unfortunaly this order is expired.

SMS will only be a notification to the driver to check their email. That's OK. We don't use SMS for customers but for drivers is necessary if we want too get response in decent time.

Optional, add
- the driver commission calculated automatically Price minus marge procentage
- and message box for each driver

and this will be extension fit for our needs perfectly.
