 Hi there,
Today I bought the plug in for Taxi booking for Joomla.
I need your support regarding the api for Google maps. I followed your instructions but maps is not appeared. I generated the free api key and I added to the maps settings. I entered the same key for browser. Into Google console I added my site and the iP of the server. Is necessary to add also this browser api or not? For sure I need your help
I need your help also with the Google calendar. The only way when I receive the bookings is to export the date from the site and import then into Google calendar? Is there any other automated process when a user make a book automatically add this transfer into any calender?

Thank you all for your time

Hi there,
Please make sure that you have both Browser and Server keys.
You also need to restrict the keys with the referrers.
Make sure that you have Billing enabled: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Tkp1UdwfjI

If you have done all that please open a Private support ticket and give us Temporary access to your Joomla back end and also make taxibookingpro@gmail.com an Editor of your Google console project - provide the ID and name of your Project (and please change the default My Project name to something more meaningful). Here is a video that can help you to add us as your project Editor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdB53MQ97_8

Hope that helps.
Kind regards.

Thank you for the update. So, as I understand this only works with billing (we have to pay) and not with a free API. is this correct?
Regarding Google calendar is there any automated process or not
Thanks a lot

Hi again,
you don't have to pay anything to Google - they give you $200 credit every month but they require Billing enabled in case you are a big company and go over around 2500 API calls per month (this is quite a lot of orders to process).

Regarding Google Calendar - there is no automation because Google requires an automated calendar to be public and orders can have some sensitive information that can't be public. This is why you have to download the file yourself and upload it after you have logged in to Google.

Hope this helps.
Kind regards.

Browser and Server key have to be different.

When you set the keys every address will be automatically found when the user is typing both in pick up and drop off fields (for taxi booking type)

Kind regards.

Hi there,
I can see that you have found the setting to show the map on the right side of the first step of the booking form.
From your attached image seems like you haven't activated one of the necessary APIs. Please find and Enable these APIs in your Google Console:
Google Maps Directions API
Google Maps Geocoding API
Google Maps Geolocation API
Google Maps JavaScript API
Google Maps Places API for Web

Hope this helps.
Kind regards.
