#100 – APIkeys

hi:
I inserted the API key into the field but now I get no message and no result. Only the Back link.

Choose an origin and a destination, and you check the result. Where do you think that is the mistake?
I have two APIkeys: server and browser, I'm using the one corresponding to the server; Is that correct?

This is a public ticket.
Please do not include any Passwords in PUBLIC tickets as everyone can see them.
ALL PASSWORDS AND ACCESS TO BE SENT VIA PRIVATE TICKETS.

I deleted the log in details to your website and advice you to change them immediately as they were public for a while.

Regarding Google API:
If you read the ticket at the bottom it says "Note: HTTPS is enforced for requests that include an API key." which is also indicated in Google's documentation regarding the API. This means that your website needs to have SSL certificate - Secure Socket Layer certificate is a form of encryption and your site will begin with https:// instead of http://
SSL certificates can be issued by your hosting provider so you can contact them regarding this matter.
We have other clients using this method of own API key and they report that it's working.
Server API key should be used.

Please in a PRIVATE ticket send us temporary back end and FTP log in details. FTP if important so we are able to look into the files and edit them directly - we may be able to at least display the message sent by the API so we know for sure what the problem is.
