When a customer makes a booking, they seem to be getting 2 emails - the order one (which is fine) then a registration one.. which I don't want them to.

I've checked User Manager and set emails to off, but they are still sending... any thoughts?

Is this a Joomla thing or a Taxi Booking thing?

Hi identityreative,
every user that uses Taxi Booking has to be registered to your website so they can access their orders at any time, receive emails for Order status changes and have their orders stacked up to the same account.
If a user is not registered Taxi Booking will automatically create account for them and send them randomly generated password that they can change after log in to your website.
If a user with that email already exists Taxi Booking will stack orders in their account and will not create new user.
The only thing that can be done is a setting at the back end that will disable email sent to the user but registration will remain as per reasons explained above.
If you really prefer not to send Registration information to your users we can create that option for you but it will require custom development.

Hope this answers your question.
Best regards.

Thanks guys.

See my queries below yours.

- Does this mean they won't get the order email also if we turn emails off??

Question
- Can we just get the registration emails forward to us, rather than stopping them??
or
- what would it cost development wise to stop sending them?

Regards. Craig

Hi Craig,
if you turn off sending Registration emails only the Registration emails won't be sent the Order emails will be sent as usual.
We could probably forward the Registration emails to you but this may complicate things a bit and why would you need Registration emails of your users at all?
Development of this feature will cost £50.
Best regards.
