#1685 – Child or booster seats are passengers???

 Hello.
We would like you to clarify the following situation:
Is child seats considered passengers ???
If in a car for 4 passengers, we choose the option of 4 passengers and we add a child seat because one of the 4 is a child, a car of superior capacity is automatically selected (7 passengers)
If in a vehicle with a capacity of 7 passengers, with 7 passengers in which one of them is a child, we add a child seat, we receive the following message:No vehicles available for this DateTime, please change DateTime and try again (See image attached)

We thank you for your guidance in overcoming this situation.

child seats and adult seats are added together - children also take space in the car.

It will help, if you explain to me how to add 3 adults, a child and a child seat in a 4 passenger car.

What does this have to do with child seats ??? in a vehicle with capacity for 7 passengers?

Hi Victor,
We are not resolving anything as there is no issue. The system separately counts the passengers and looks for available cars hence the message that no cars are available at this time when passenger count is more than any available car can accommodate.
Users select number of adult seats (you can change the word passenger to adult if you think this is more relevant) and then a child travelling with a seat that's appropriate for the child's age.
It is all common sense and although other systems may offer child seats as extras (which you can also do via Custom fields and set all child seats to 0) Taxi Booking has been working fine for millions of orders since it's existence.
