#169 – Car availability depending on order status

 Hi, Marian and Ronniee

is it possible to improve car availibility depending on order status ?
Because actually once admin passed status from waiting to accepted the car is available, but if later for some reasons admin decides to change back the order status from accepted to waiting the car is still available.
Is it possible to make it not available in all cases while the status is waiting even if it was changed to accepted/cancelled/archived and then changed back to waiting ?

Hi serguei_kp,
Actually when a Car is booked it has to be Unavailable for booking for the same Date/Time period in the following statuses: Waiting, Accepted, Archived. Only if set by Admin as Rejected the car will be available for booking for the same Date/Time.
This logic should work regardless of how many times Admin changes the status although a problem might be created if Order has been marked as Rejected and car is released to booking pool and booked again for the same Date/Time in a new order and then Admin tries to change the original order to Accepted again.

Please consider the above explanation and check your system.

Hi, Marian,
as you can see on screenshot,
after changing Hourly Hire order status from waiting to accepted (and then back to waiting) the car becomes available for Address booking and for Offers booking. But yes, it's not available for Hourly Hire booking.
I think that something bad is happening after order status change of Hourly hire orders.

We have found the issue that Trip duration is not being considered while updating Hourly Booking from backend order edit system. We will fix this in next version which is going to be released very soon.
