#175 – Shuttle bookings - not capping bookings

 We've setup some daily shuttle times... but users can keep booking on any set shuttle time. Even though its set to 40max pp.. the system is still allowing for bookings. How can we get the system to identify when it's fully booked??? Also.. can the times state when they are fully booked and/or show how many peoples are already booked for that trip?? IE display something like 24/40 are booked.

Hi identitycreative,

There are several things that should be considered while operating Shuttles. Shuttles work per day basis and hence sold tickets for a shuttle is just for the booking date only. Those tickets will be available again when its a new day. Another important thing is Shuttle order with Waiting status will not block off sold tickets. Order status must be Accepted to block off sold tickets. Please go through Shuttle explanation here http://kanev.com/blog/31-what-exactly-is-shuttles-functionality-for-taxi-booking. Please check your setup again and if you still find any flaw, Please provide Temporary back end and FTP log in details to your website in a PRIVATE ticket so we can take a closer look and help you with your issue.

And, we agree with you that Admin should be able to see how many seats are booked for a shuttle per day in one place. We will add this in next release.

Hi,, currently our system is FREE for passengers.. and with the new update, allows for auto activation to accepted orders... we just need something in system to block any new orders coming in on that day & time for shuttle - if the shuttle is full. We just don't want to run into angry customers who continue to book a 12.30 shuttle with 40 seat capacity. thanks.
