#1801 – Create POI without category

Hello,
i want to use POI in the special trip.
Am I required to create POI categories? Actually if I do not place my POI in a category, it does not appear in the booking form.

It's annoying if I want to have only one POI in the starting point. The user is obliged to choose the category before choosing the POI.

Hi there,
You need to create POI Categories and split your POIs into categories but you don't have to show Categories selection at the booking form. At the back end > Taxi Booking > Settings > General settings > Show Categories Dropdown: No will hide the categories selection at the front end.
POI Categories will only give POIs the small icon that you have uploaded while creating the category making POIs more recognizable in the dropdowns.

a small problem however, my custom field is no longer displayed in the component during the 1st step booking. (it works for the module but not for the component)

Hi again,
when you create your Custom field you can select which step you want it to display on (not available for all custom field types but works for most). Please check that and if you find any problems please make this ticket Private and provide us login details to your back end.

Thanks for your quick answer. The custom field was shown on first step without any problem before i change the "Show Categories Dropdown" to "No". The problem doesn't exist for the module, only for the component.

It's not the first time you help me, you should already have login details, isn't it ?

we don't keep login details and we always advise our clients to provide Temporary login details that they have to change or delete after we are done with our help.
