#2068 – Important Google Maps Api Keys

 Hi,
In my websites where i use taxibooking i dont want to use google maps api keys because i dont want to be charged by google. i dont want to use the google maps directions as i used special routes with Fixed Prices. How can i use taxi booking without google maps api keys;

Google Maps API is used in Special offers not only to show the directions on the map. It also calculates the time necessary for each order so it blocks off the car to prevent double bookings.
At the moment it cannot be disabled for Special offers (Fixed fares).
Google will not charge you anything for up to $200 per month which is about 2500 requests made from your website - this is a credit that they give you every month and unless you are a very big company with over 2500 requests a month you will not have to pay anything.
Even if you are sending more than 2500 request per month I think that the price of 1000 request over was $0.50 (last time we have checked a few months ago) - so it is still very affordable for the functionality you get.
But as I said - this is very unlikely to happen to you. We have had reports from clients who process over 5000 orders per month that they had to pay a few dollars in fees to Google.
