 Hi Marian,
just noticed a problem with email notification of order booked. My language overrides work fine with normal booking response but when I changed the order status, these overrides fail to kick in.
So for example, the title of my first auto generated email in response to nex booking reads as,

"Lift Limousine Booking Notification : Order Id - 32"
Bookings at Lift Limousine & Car Service

but when I change the order status from waiting to accepted,
the second auto generated email title reads as,

"Lift Limousine Booking Notification : Order Id - 32
Taxi Booking Authority - Lift Limousine & Car Service
Please help!
Thank you very much.

Hi Imran,
please not that when you change the Order status from back end emails are sent through the back end as well and the back end has it's own language file in administrator/language/en-GB
Please check if the words that you wish to override are shown twice in Joomla override functionality and change both instances. Otherwise you will have to manipulate the language file in back end manually via FTP to change the language but these changes will be overridden on update.

Hope this helps.
Let us know if you still have a problem after doing above options.
Best regards.

Hi,
Thank you for a prompt reply! I have searched and changed all instances of this particular word. Looks like I will have to change language file as mentioned above by you. And yes, it will be a little bit of work after each update, wish there was a better way to do it.
Regards

Hi again,
unfortunately if Joomla doesn't allow back end language overrides we can't do much about it.
However, you can change Order status through the front end and then Front end language files will be used so you should not have problems.
In later versions of Taxi Booking Admin can change order status at My Orders tab as well at the front end when logged in.

Hope this helps.
Best regards.
