#336 – How can i enable the Paypal IPN ?

Hi Rodolphe,

Notification URL in PayPal IPN will be as follows

http://YOURSITE.com/index.php?option=com_taxibooking&controller=pluginresponse&task=pluginnotification&tmpl=component

where YOURSITE.com will be replaced by your actual website URL.

Hi Ronnie,

Thank you for your help but my Paypal IPN doesn't work with Taxibooking component.

I also tried with IPN Simulator with https://www.i-mdriver.fr/index.php?option=com_taxibooking&controller=pluginresponse&task=pluginnotification&tmpl=component.

I think i need that you help me to debug Paypal IPN on my server.

Besides, i lost the thanks page after cash end Paypal booking since the last Taxibooking component update.

If you need a temporary access to my FTP and website settings, you can use my login data contained in my closed private ticket #323. It's the same.

I hope you have set all the Parameters perfectly while testing IPN Simulator. There are several important parameters as follows with its expected value

IPN handler URL=https://www.i-mdriver.fr/index.php?option=com_taxibooking&controller=pluginresponse&task=pluginnotification&tmpl=component

payment_status = Complete
business=PAYPAL Merchant Email set in Taxibooking Paypal Method
receiver_email=PAYPAL Merchant Email set in Taxibooking Paypal Method
mc_currency=Order Operating Currency
mc_gross=Order amount
invoice=Order number/Reference Number

Show all fields should be set to YES

We have enabled PayPal debug in your site and from now paypal response will be written in a text file so that we can debug the response returned from PayPal. Please try again and lets check together.

About Thanks page, system could not detect the appropriate Menu Itemid for the thanks page and it was showing default/home menu itemid which is 101. You have 2 languages French and English (French is the default language though), so this should be considered as Multilingual site, but you did not enable few System plugins (Language Filter) which is necessary in a multilingual site. We have enabled System - Language Filter plugin and added a content language (French) here https://www.i-mdriver.fr/administrator/index.php?option=com_languages&view=languages. Now, perfect thanks page is showing. We have submitted few test orders for debugging and also removed those.

"Thanks page" works perfectly now with two languages.
As regards the IPN, it doesn't work. I've performed a lot of tests in IPN Simulator and as real. I 've applied your advices et i've respected your instructions.
I don't understand why it doesn't work properly ...

Well, I can see in PayPal response cache file that one transaction response for Order number: 550725975f40b has been tracked and payment_status received is Pending. A Pending transaction will not make an order Accepted. FYI, transaction response from Sandbox is always Pending. So, you should try with IPN simulator setting payment_status = Complete. We have tested with IPN simulator and it works perfectly. All you need to do is to setup parameters (specified in earlier post) perfectly. If you still can't setup, please submit a new order and give me Order number/Reference number. I will test from my side.
