#465 – Return different depending on POI category

 Hi,
I'm using two categories for the bookings. For one category I have the prices as one way, so the selection for Return is needed in the booking but for the other category the prices are way and return so I don't want the selection for Return to appear in the booking form.
How can I make it?

at the moment you can't have Return enabled for some POI groups and disabled for others.
You can submit a new feature request at http://kanev.com/development/taxi-booking so we can estimate development cost.

In my oppinion the definition of prices for any special route should contain a field that definies if that special route price is one way or way and return.
Or
Have it defined at POI category level. This way it would be possible to define different prices for the different ways for the same route.
I think it is a basic parameter.
The way it is now we only have One Way Routes OR Way and Return Routes. It is very restrictive.

I think it is something you should consider in the next update.

we haven't received similar request from any of the 700 other clients using Taxi Booking so we can't classify this as "basic parameter". The normal situation is Fixed fare one way - double it (with any discount) on Return.

Where would you see the option/setting at the moment to control which special route or POI Category get's a Return or not?

We will consider this for the next versions but as it isn't high priority request it may take a while before we are able to add it to the software.

Thank you for your answer. Please note that my comments are construtive.
As per your question, here is my answer based on the fact that I'm just analising the special routes operation as I don't used address routes and also it is a quick thought as I didn't analise it all very profundly.
Imediatly what I think is that defining it at POI category it would be better. In the POI category you could define if the prices under that category are one way or way and return. So when people select at front end booking form a category that is way and return the program should not ask to tick the return field, but would ask the return date, and so on and make the booking as way and reurn.
If we want use some routes as one way and others as way and return we just make to separate POI categories and open Speacial Routes under each one.

Defining it at Special Route level would be confusing because there will be in the list a mixed of routes with return and others only one way.

These are my two cents and hope you really consider implementing it.
