I have been trying figure out how to remove the gender option from the book now form. The only way seems to be to edit default.php

Hi visability,
it is better to use CSS to hide that section as you can add the CSS to your template's CSS files and safely update Taxi Booking in the future without overriding core Taxi Booking files.
In the future we will make that Gender selection optional so you will be able to hide it from the back end.
