#65 – Custom fields and other problems

 Hi, i use taxi booking as component in my menu (see at demo server http://www.istoselida24.info/newtaxitransfers Main menu - Booking) but
1) it is not wotking properly. I think that might be a conflict with fox contact or something else in the template. I need some help on that because only taxi booking not working and i dont know why.
2) Also i need custom fields to be displayed in User Details field when someone fill their personal details (after selecting the car). I want to have a dropdown to select airport company but there is no need to do that when the route is selected. It has to be done as last stage when he finally see the price and decide to book.

Ignore the first question. In clean install of joomla, template and taxi booking works perfect. Please help me with custom fields only.

hi, when i install joomfish in my clean installation taxi booking no working. Check http://www.istoselida24.info/newtaxitransfers. Only when i select booking in my top menu and then change language problem appears. Is there any suggestion?

Regarding Custom fields: they are structured to be added at the first step of the booking process because it's the most logical place according to User surveying and also some Custom fields can change the price of Cars. You can create your Airport options dropdown and assign it to the appropriate selection of the user eg. Airports category POI.
Regarding JoomFish: Taxi Booking is created to work with default built in Joomla multilingual ability and JoomFish is not really needed to make a multi lingual website. JoomFish does not follow Joomla's SEF URL structure and this is why a problem appears when using Taxi Booking with JoomFish. It's advisory to use the default Joomla multi language or there will be a need of special plugin for JoomFish.

Thank you for your quick answer. I'd like to have at least one custom field to show in User details. If such a modification can be done what is the extra cost?

because of popular demand of the possibility to add Custom fields to User details screen in the Booking form we have added that as a default feature inversion 3.5.1 of Taxi Booking.
