#83 – taxibooking automated coupons

I would like to ask you if it is possible to create an automatic coupon system that will generate automatically a coupon of one usage per customer when he dos not have an active coupon and will inform the user for that coupon. What that really means is that when a customer creates an account and make a booking the system should create a new coupon only for that user, how can use it for the next booking. If the user try to book for the second time and he uses the coupon then the system will just use the coupon and deactivate it (since the coupon is for one usage only).
In general what the system should do is to check if the user has an available coupon. If he has, then the system should use the available coupon , if the user does not have a coupon then the system should create a coupon to be available for the next booking.


The available coupon should not be used in case the customers has already an offer like the 5% of the return.

currently coupons have to be created manually at the back end but you can limit the coupon usage by user and by number of hits (times to be used).
Do you need the system to automatically generate a coupon on each booking and send it to the user via email or do you want the coupon to be automatically applied when the user is logged in?
At the moment we can't restrict Coupon usage if Return is selected as Return will be soon moved as a separate booking and then we can think about limiting coupon usage (which will automatically be available as Return will be second order and the coupon is generated just for 1 hit/order to be used).

I would like to inform you that i will crate manually the coupons and send them to the customer for theis next booking, but what i really need for the moment is to check the system if there is s return in booking and in this case to apply the coupon only to the price of the original booking and not to the price of the return, because i use a discount 5% on the returns.

We will soon separate original and Return orders to make 2 separate orders and make it possible to select 2 separate cars. Discount on Return may be removed then so only Coupon codes are used.
