#1304 – Excedeed quota error Google Api

Hello.
Unfortunately some customers are complaining that they can not make reservations on our site because they receive a mistake of exceeed quota.
We have attached an image that one of these clients sent us because he was unable to make a reservation request.
As you will understand, this causes us great harm.
Thank you for your intervention, in order to solve this problem as soon as possible.

Hi Victor,
this is happening because you have exceeded your free Google Maps quota which is 2500 requests for 24 hours. Note that Google counts requests from an IP so if you are on a shared hosting all sites on that hosting are sharing that quota.
You can research online. Here is a URL to Google's help page that I found after quick search: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/usage

You can sign up for personal API keys (both Browser and Server keys needed) and add them to Taxi Booking > Settings > Map settings so the quota is just for you, not the entire server your website is on.

Hello again.
Of course I accept the explanation, but I can not fail to mention the following:
We're not in a shared hosting, and if that's the case, after exceeding the 24-hour quota, no more customers would have been able to make reservations, and even I would not have made it.
And immediately after the last of the complaints, I made 2 reservations without any quota problem.

Hi Victor,

I could not reproduce the problem on my side,one reason might be Google quota count reset every day. But you should use your own Google maps API key, then this type of problem should not occur again. Please follow what martso said in previous post
