what type of Clickatel API need to be there ... just the API ID numbers ? what kind HTTP, REST, SMTP, FTP, XML, SMPP, SOAP and COM API ...?

You will need HTTP API ID, Username and Password. You should use appropriate Country Code as well in Settings -> SMS Settings.

Hi mp.aviator,
we noticed that you use +1 for country code and as explained in the documentation (and Tool tip on Country Phone code at the back end) Clickatell requires Country code without + or 0 so in your case it should be just 1.
We have fixed that for you so please test to see if SMS is sent as expected.

I used HTTP API ID and Martso fixed the +1 for just 1 which is the proper country code but still i am not getting the SMS .. i made several test bookings. when i do it from the browser with the testing link from clickatell it works just fine.

This issue has been resolved with additional Option for Taxi Booking - Phone number for Small Business accounts with Clickatell.
