#431 – google calendar

Hi,
I think I am have the same problem like blackys in his ticket:
#350 – Orders not showing in google calendar
I followed the instructions to activate the google calendar, and the booking calendar is just blank page, can't see the orders that i'm placing, if i made event in browser car calendar, then i see event in booking calendar, but not opposite direction.
am i missing something?

Hi Marko,
it is really hard to help you with Google Calendar integration because we need full access to your Google account and we may need authorization code that Google will text you to access your account form a different than your usual location.

If you follow the steps in the PDF here: http://kanev.com/docs/taxi-booking/google-calendar you will be able to properly integrate Google calendar.
We have done it many times and the step by step guide definitely works.

A few things to look out for:
When you are creating your project in Google Developer Console you will be prompt to download .json file but you need .p12 file instead - it is highlighted in the PDF tutorial.
You need separate Calendar for each car and you need to get the calendar HTML and paste in Car management. Taxi Booking will then combine all HTML for all cars and will display one calendar for all cars in Taxi Booking > Booking Calendar.
Calendars have to be Public and email of the Project you created at Google Developer Console allowed to Make changes to the calendars.

I am not sure that I completely understand: " if i made event in browser car calendar, then i see event in booking calendar, but not opposite direction. " - but please note that Calendar events are one way, when Taxi Booking order is added through Taxi Booking it will show on the Calendar but if you add an event in your Google Calendar directly it will not be visible in Taxi Booking.

I do some really strange things here :)
When i add event in Google calendar directly is it visible in Taxi Booking. But when Taxi Booking order is added through Taxi Booking is not visible nowhere in calendar.
I check, each step in the PDF but i will check again.

I hope you manage to sort it out.
This step is not in the PDF tutorial but in the page itself: You need to download Google data PHP client library and upload it to your website > components/com_taxibooking/google-api-php-client-master via FTP.

Please make sure that you have downloaded Google data PHP client library and uploaded it to Taxi Booking's folder properly.

I go here:

download zip and unzip on local folder,
and upload unzip folder on website > components/com_taxibooking/google-api-php-client-master via FTP.
Warning about this folder disappear in Settings> Google Calendar Settings.
key:xxx.p12 is also in components/com_taxibooking
and all steps i done in PDF.
Order's are not showing in colendar.
Do i need create these to URL Shortner API key ?

Hi Marko,
Google Calendar has nothing to do with URL shortner so it's not necessary to have the shortner API key as well.

If you can send me temporary Back end access, FTP access and Google calendar and Developer console access IN A PRIVATE TICKET I can also double check everything for you.
Just make sure that you are online and send me the Verification code that Google may send you via SMS.
